Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring and post-partum mothers.
- Attend to patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
- Administer and monitor prescribed medications and treatments.
- Prepare and assist in cesarean sections and other procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication with care team and patients' families.
Qualifications
- Valid CA Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP.
- Proficiency in using Epic charting system.
- Ability to float between like units as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
