Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments of MedSurg/Tele patients including stroke patients and those with neurological deficits.
Administer medications and titrate drips such as Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine as per protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and ensure patient safety.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system.
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety policies, including adherence to nail policy.
Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers efficiently, ensuring seamless care transitions.

Qualifications

Active RN license eligible for submission; must be free of any background history or license hits.
Minimum of current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required.
Preferred travel nursing experience; open to strong candidates without prior travel experience.
Must successfully pass a pass/fail exam during orientation and comply with facility policies.
Basic Telemetry awareness required; experience with PCA pumps beneficial.
Driver's license required for residency verification purposes.
