Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiology Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures including basic IR and complex cases such as tumor ablation and spine jack.
- Ensure proper operation of GE equipment and utilize Meditech EMR efficiently.
- Adhere to patient safety guidelines and maintain patient ratios from 1:1 to 3:1 as needed.
- Participate actively in a cohesive team of 4 techs and 4-5 RNs during day shifts.
- Exhibit excellent communication and problem-solving skills in stressful situations.
- Demonstrate adaptability and the capability to work on-call during night shifts.
Qualifications
- VI certification or CVIR required.
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience in a similar setting.
- Proficiency with GE equipment and Meditech EMR preferred.
- Experience in a Neurology or Thrombectomy center is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Capability to be on-call with a 30-minute response time is necessary.
