Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with surgical procedures across various service lines, including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, and general surgery.
• Adapt to a rotating schedule, providing on-call coverage and maintaining flexibility to handle varied surgical schedules.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and OR techs to ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in continuous education and pass required competency exams to ensure proficiency in the OR setting.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility in the state of Nebraska.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Two years of OR experience with proficiency in neuro and all service lines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday on-call rotations.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress, acute care settings.
• BSN preferred with strong commitment to team-based collaborative care.
