Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cath Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including right and left heart cath diagnostics and PCI.
Maintain and operate specialized equipment including monitoring systems, defibrillators, and recording equipment.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including post-procedural recovery.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols, especially during emergency response situations.
Participate in on-call rotation as required, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license at start of contract is required.
ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory; radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of high-acuity patient care, dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation.
Ability to scrub and assist with complex procedures such as TAVRs, Watchman, and MitralClip.
