Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cath Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including right and left heart cath diagnostics and PCI.
• Maintain and operate specialized equipment including monitoring systems, defibrillators, and recording equipment.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including post-procedural recovery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols, especially during emergency response situations.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cath Lab setting is required.
• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license at start of contract is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory; radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
• Experience with Epic charting systems is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of high-acuity patient care, dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation.
• Ability to scrub and assist with complex procedures such as TAVRs, Watchman, and MitralClip.
