Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating services during surgical procedures, with at least 2 years of circulating experience preferred.
• Adhere to established protocols, including infection control, laser safety, and universal protocol (Time out) procedures.
• Execute precise specimen handling and labeling, and ensure appropriate wound management.
• Operate special equipment such as DaVinci XI, Stryker/Arthrex, and Storz video equipment for urology services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and late-day shifts until 1900 as required.
• Implement nursing care plans for varied surgical procedures such as thoracotomy, total joint replacement, and more.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing, with state license in-hand required for submission.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications preferred.
• Experience with Meditech charting system required for the role.
• Minimum one year of professional nursing experience in an operating room setting.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions available.
• Ability to work with a daily census of 20-25 cases covering services in spine, urology, GYN, ortho, general, ENT, and pulmonology services.
