Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist, CRT to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians and monitor progress.
• Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, ensuring safe practices and patient comfort.
• Evaluate and interpret arterial blood gases and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care needs in a Level 1 Trauma environment.
• Utilize Epic charting system to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in continued education and contribute to quality improvement processes.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accreditation required, RRT preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years respiratory therapist experience, including at least 1 year in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Strong ability to manage respiratory crises and work independently in high-pressure situations.
• Must have or begin the process to obtain a Nebraska state respiratory license.
