Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care in a Level 3 NICU, ensuring the highest standards of neonatal care.
• Operate and manage neonatal oscillating and high-frequency jet ventilators proficiently.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed, supporting various units.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive respiratory treatment plans.
• Document patient evaluations and treatments utilizing EPIC charting system.
• Educate and orientate students or new hires as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, including Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Current BLS, CRT or RRT, and state license required.
• Experience with Draeger ventilators mandatory.
• Ability to float and adapt to different units such as NICU and pediatric settings.
• Experience working in high-acuity and critical care environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
