Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy infusions, ensuring safety and compliance with protocols.
- Perform 6 daily infusions and 1-2 port draws at an Oncology Clinic.
- Utilize Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps effectively in patient care.
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting systems.
- Manage and care for central and implanted lines and administer blood products.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families facing oncology care.
Qualifications
- Active RN license and BLS certification required.
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONCC or ONS) mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of oncology experience; first-time travelers accepted.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to handle complex equipment and emergency situations such as anaphylaxis or sepsis.
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary care and patient interaction.
