Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Labor and Delivery RN with a focus on circulating for C-sections.
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams and assist in high-risk deliveries.
• Administer magnesium sulfate therapy and handle antihypertensives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to patient care planning.
• Ensure adherence to all clinical protocols and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation using Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN license is mandatory before starting the assignment.
• Two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in a large hospital setting.
• Certification required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Must be able to perform all required clinical skills, including sterile vaginal exams and circulating during surgeries.
• Experience with high-risk antepartum care is essential.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed to accommodate unit needs.
