Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a 32-bed labor and delivery unit.
- Implement intermediate fetal monitoring to ensure maternal and fetal well-being.
- Collaborate with charge and co-charge nurses to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios.
- Administer BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE protocols as per facility guidelines.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Novii, JADA, and Fetal Pillow for optimal care delivery.
- Engage in team-focused care, maintaining a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery.
- Certification in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, with competency in SVE and C-section circulation.
- Experience in high-volume, Level IV labor and delivery units preferred.
- Previous experience or assignments within HCA healthcare systems advantageous.
- Competency in internal monitor placement is highly desired.
- Ability to adhere to professional dress code with navy blue scrubs and solid color sweatshirts.
