Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on a 28-29 bed capacity Medical-Surgical unit.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6-7 and manage both "clean" and designated "dirty" COVID areas.
• Participate in flexible self-scheduling and abide by EOW and holiday rotation commitments.
• Administer Heparin & manage respiratory support such as Bipap and Cpap under RT guidance.
• Engage in patient assignments covering post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
• Ensure compliance with all shift requirements, including wearing designated navy blue scrubs.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered registered nurse license with eligibility for Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, including patient monitoring and care coordination.
• Ability to adapt to a range of patient diagnoses and care activities.
• Comfortable working in environments with remote telemetry patients.
• Orientation of one shift with a preceptor required to ensure readiness.
