Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing the operating room and surgical instruments prior to procedures.
Support the surgical team during operations by passing necessary tools and instruments.
Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly and prepared for use.
Maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination and infection.
Monitor and account for surgical instruments and supplies during procedures.
Document procedures as per hospital and regulatory protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR CST.
NBSTA and DORA Certifications required prior to submission.
Must have Open Heart experience.
Experience in Level I and trauma settings preferred.
Prior experience with Meditech EMR system is advantageous.
Strong teamwork and accountability skills with self-direction.
