Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care, acting as a patient advocate and maintaining the sterile field.
Assist with total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and robotic cases, including GYN, colorectal, and general surgeries.
Function as a circulator with experience in managing sterile integrity and resource allocation.
Participate in on-call duties, typically 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every eight weeks.
Work collaboratively with other OR staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
Utilize EMR systems, specifically Epic, to document patient care activities efficiently.

Qualifications

Current Alaska RN license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Experience in circulating within an operating room environment is essential.
Ability to act as a patient advocate and resource within the sterile field.
Preferred CNOR certification and experience as a scrub nurse.
Positive outlook and willingness to work collaboratively with team members.
