Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a 24-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Utilize Epic for comprehensive documentation of patient care activities.
• Administer and manage cardio-pulmonary support and advanced cardiovascular therapies.
• Float to like units as required, based on unit needs and patient acuity.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care standards.
• Maintain infection prevention and adhere to safety protocols within the ICU environment.

Qualifications

• Current CO or compact RN license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to manage patient ratios as per unit acuity.
• Weekend and holiday availability per unit's schedule requirements.
