Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - CVOR to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care during cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, AVR, and MVR.
• Assist surgeons during thoracotomy procedures ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient status and vitals before, during, and after procedures.
• Document all relevant patient interactions and care in the Cerner charting system.
• Ensure readiness for emergency situations by maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Participate in on-call rotations and float to other units as required to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• Minimum of two years of CVOR experience including CABG and thoracotomy procedures.
• Certified in ACLS and BLS; COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Experience with Cerner or similar charting systems.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts including evenings and weekends.
• BSN preferred but not required.
