Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to a variety of patients, primarily with orthopedic conditions, in an outpatient setting.
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 12 patients, ensuring each receives appropriate treatment tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physical therapy aides, to optimize patient care.
- Participate in department-specific orientation to integrate smoothly into the clinic environment.
- Utilize the MEDITECH charting system to document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
- Maintain a professional appearance adhering to business casual dress code; denim is not permitted.
Qualifications
- Must hold an Oregon Physical Therapy License or be eligible to obtain licensure prior to the start of the assignment.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) as per state and hospital requirements.
- Previous experience in an outpatient clinical setting is essential for effective patient management.
- Ability to provide care in acute inpatient settings is an advantage.
- Flexible schedule availability to work four 10-hour days from Tuesday to Friday, with no weekend or holiday requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with other therapy and medical staff.
