Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
- Assist with vaginal and c-section deliveries
- Implement and evaluate nursing care plans for labor and delivery
- Monitor fetal heart rates using both Novii and GE equipment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and CNAs
- Document patient information accurately in EMR systems CPN and Meditech
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, or EFM certification
- Experience with fetal scalp electrodes and monitoring
- Preferred experience in Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, or NICU
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
