Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Observation Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Observation Unit for conditions such as chest pain, asthma, and minor infections.
- Administer IV antibiotics, fluids, insulin drips, and Nitro for Blood Pressure management.
- Maintain patient safety while monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Utilize EPIC charting for accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist with float duties as needed across multiple units to support facility staffing.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Nebraska or ability to obtain prior to assignment start.
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting required.
- Proficient in EPIC charting system with strong documentation skills.
- Experience with drips, including Nitro, Heparin, and Insulin management.
- Flexibility to float to Bellevue campus and other units as needed.
