Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to medical and telemetry patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including sepsis, respiratory and cardiac diseases.
• Manage and monitor titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and complex wound care.
• Participate in a team-based care delivery model, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and virtual nurses for enhanced patient care.
• Float frequently to various units to meet the hospital's staffing needs, including potential float to Bellevue campus.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Maintain a nicotine-free work environment and adhere to facility-specific uniform requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nebraska, pending license accepted if booked six weeks out.
• BLS certification required; medical or religious exemptions applicable for COVID-19 vaccination.
• Minimum two years of Telemetry experience in a large urban hospital; experience in Level I Academic Medical Center preferred.
• Proficiency with managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, non-invasive airway management, and wound care.
• Experience with team-based care models and interdisciplinary collaboration is advantageous.
• EPIC charting experience required and previous charge nurse experience beneficial.
