Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, and medication administration.
• Conduct skin assessments and assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
• Provide transport for patients to the operating room and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep.
• Utilize GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound systems effectively.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner system.
• Maintain excellent communication with interdepartmental teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse License in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven critical care experience is mandatory, PreOp experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient care area.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
