Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, adhering to facility guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Administer and manage titratable drips such as Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in an acute care setting.
• Participate in patient education, especially regarding postpartum and breastfeeding procedures.
• Manage patient care documentation using the EPIC charting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Follow facility's regulations on artificial nails and pass the required RN skills examination during orientation.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license and eligibility for practice in Nebraska.
• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system or similar electronic health records.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
