Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor and postpartum care, demonstrating expertise in patient management.
• Administer medication, including antibiotics and pain management under protocol guidelines.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform assessments using EPIC charting system.
• Float to postpartum units as required to meet facility needs.
• Assist and support newborn care, including assessments and communication of any concerns.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment processes, and postpartum best practices.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of California required.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required.
• Certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to float between like units and adapt to various hospital procedures.
