Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Coordinate surgical suite preparation and patient positioning with the surgical team.
- Ensure all equipment is sterilized and functioning before surgery.
- Monitor patients' conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain patient charts and records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to facilitate day-to-day workflow and patient transitions.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience required
- Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience required
- Certification in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Experience with general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic surgical cases
