Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and provide care to patients in an Oncology Acute Telemetry unit.
- Interpret telemetry readings and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans.
- Maintain competency in IV insertions and care, including use of SWAT RN for difficult sticks.
- Work with 85% oncology and 15% telemetry medical-surgical patients.
- Ensure compliance with sterile field practices in SIMs Lab skills assessments.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Expertise in telemetry interpretation and EKG monitoring.
- Experience in an acute care setting, preferably with oncology patients.
- Chemo certification is a plus.
- Ability to work 7-7 shifts, including at least 1 weekend per month.
