Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, ensuring safe and optimal outcomes.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, including fetal heart rate patterns, to identify potential complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while following protocols and physician directives.
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures, collaborating with obstetricians and the care team.
- Educate and support patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE)
- BLS Certification (BLS)
- NRP certification required for L/D and NICU nurses
- Certification in Fetal Monitoring through National Credential Center or AWOHNN (Intermediate or Advanced)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
