Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and PCU.
- Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with precision.
- Leverage EPIC charting to document patient care efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Critical Care Intensivist and other staff to offer extraordinary patient care.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3-4 during days/nights.
- Float to various units as needed to meet facility-wide staffing needs, ensuring comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN and NIH strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting.
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
- Capability to handle complex patient cases, including trauma and ventilated patients.
- Experience with arterial line and central line management.
- Must be nicotine-free and comply with facility policies on scrubs and parking.
