Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in acute inpatient, rehab, and outpatient settings.
• Provide therapy for adult and pediatric patients in ICUs and rehab programs, covering trauma, neuro, ortho, and oncology cases.
• Document patient progress and justify continued care or discharge in accordance with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with rehab aides, COTAs, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on activities of daily living and functional independence.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations with core staff, adhering to departmental scheduling practices.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin state license in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Experience in acute and rehab care settings with diverse patient populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system and ability to clock in/out at the facility.
• Professional appearance with adherence to department's dress code of solid color attire.
