Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist - Occupational Therapy

Job Details:

• Work day shift with variable scheduling - self scheduling not allowed
• Weekend and holiday requirements with rotation among core staff
• Compensatory days provided for weekend work
• Perform approximately 9 evaluations per day and 16 treatments per day
• Cover adult and pediatric acute inpatient units, adult and pediatric ICUs, and acute inpatient rehabilitation
• Work with diverse patient populations including trauma, neuro, ortho, general med surg, oncology, and stroke patients
• Conduct ADL evaluations and document justification for next level of care
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and teamwork abilities
• Dress code requires any solid color scrubs that are clean and professional
• Use Cerner charting system
• Must clock in and out at facility
• Work alongside 1 rehab aide and 1 COTA
• Department-specific orientation varies based on skill level
• Credentialing process required - must have all onboarding including Wisconsin state license completed by 2nd Monday of the month

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that serves as a Level 2 pediatric and adult trauma center and primary stroke center. The facility offers specialized programs including same day discharge joint procedures, pediatric and adult inpatient rehabilitation programs, and stroke specialty services. The organization provides both adult and pediatric acute care services across multiple departments including ICUs, with a focus on trauma, neurological, orthopedic, oncology, and general medical surgical care.
