Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cath lab and operate essential equipment, ensuring equipment functionality and resolving issues.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and ECG recognition.
• Collaborate with the cath lab team and coordinate all aspects of patient procedures and care.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to patient safety and infection control protocols.
• Act as radiation safety representative and support physician needs during fluoro and X-ray procedures.
• Train on and operate cath lab equipment, assisting with specific procedures and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA only).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required to operate independently in pediatric settings (AHA only).
• 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Relevant certifications preferred: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT, RDMS, or RDCS.
