Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Ensure adherence to surgical asepsis and infection control protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist during surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with surgical team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment.
- Participate in perioperative patient education and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current California RN license and BCLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Ability to float between like units; must be willing to work on-call shifts.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in handling high-stress while maintaining excellent communication and teamwork.
