Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to labor and delivery patients within an acute care hospital.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist in high-risk deliveries.
• Administer medications such as antihypertensives and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in California, required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications, required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience in a large hospital setting is preferred.
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams and circulate in surgical procedures.
• No first-time travelers accepted for this position, experience in travel nursing required.
