Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers, ensuring quality and safety during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and neonatologists to manage high-risk deliveries and other emergency situations.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin as per physician orders and monitor patient responses.
• Support neonatal resuscitation efforts in compliance with NRP guidelines within a LDRP setting.
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring to assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
• Float to other Sacramento facilities as required and participate in on-call rotations with 30-minute response time.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• At least 1 year of LDRP experience; candidates with 3 or more years preferred.
• Advanced practice certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Proficient in Cerner charting systems and fetal monitoring utilizing Fetalink system.
• Ability to manage complex medical conditions and provide critical care interventions during labor and delivery.
• Experience with OR circulating preferred, familiarity with neonatal stabilization a plus.
