Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions focused on acute care, including gait training and assistive device instruction.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with medical and surgical teams for comprehensive patient care planning.
- Utilize knowledge of orthopedic surgeries and neurological conditions for effective interventions.
- Document patient progress and reassessments using electronic charting systems.
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapy License in good standing.
- BLS certification required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Epic charting system.
- Ability to perform strength assessments and develop rehabilitation objectives.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
