Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient patient throughput.
- Provide discharge instructions and patient education as required.
- Adapt to a variable schedule based on surgical and unit needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- 2 years of nursing experience in a PACU or critical care setting preferred.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
- Proficient in the use of Epic charting system.
- Strong skills in airway assessment and management post-surgery.
- Experience with trauma level II facilities preferred.
