Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation purposes.
• Provide comprehensive care for labor and delivery patients, ensuring adherence to high-risk protocols.
• Assist in triage and provision of care for obstetrical patients.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration for patient assessments and care planning.
• Float between labor and delivery and mother-baby units as required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Certification in ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP required.
• Proficient in the use of EPIC and other relevant healthcare software.
• Expertise in performing sterile vaginal exams and labor triage.
• Willingness to work weekends and float between similar units.
