Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and manage high-risk obstetric cases.
• Administer medications, including Pitocin, and perform interventions such as episiotomies and APGAR scoring.
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rates and apply internal monitors as needed.
• Conduct patient triage in the obstetrics unit and provide education and support to expectant families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and transition to postpartum care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and on-call shifts as per unit needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
