Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28 to 29-bed medical-surgical unit.
• Collaborate with clinical manager and resource nurse to manage patient assignments efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to BLS certification standards in all care settings.
• Participate in the self-scheduling process and accommodate unit needs.
• Comfortably manage patients across 'clean' and 'dirty' hallways, including COVID patients.
• Document patient care using the Cerner charting system.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with willingness to wait for license approval.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.
• Ability to work required shift and weekend rotations as per scheduling.
• Comfort in managing a patient ratio of 1:6-7, adhering to unit needs.
• Effective communication skills and collaborative ability in a team care environment.
