Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - ICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care to neuro ICU patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
- Utilize expertise in Level 1 Trauma experience to optimize patient outcomes.
- Perform proficient ICP monitoring and strong neuro assessments.
- Participate in Cerner EMR documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
- Float as required to MS/Tele floors with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, maintaining flexibility across units.
- Engage in SIMs Lab to ensure skill proficiency in catheter and central line procedures.
Qualifications
- Current RN license with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a large facility, with Level 1 Trauma experience required.
- EVD experience and strong neuro ICU experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to pass the DYS exam, with two attempts allowed.
- Willingness to adhere to grooming standards for fit testing and facility-specific requirements.
- Ability to travel and provide personal transportation for assignments.
