Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform scrubbing duties on a variety of procedures including Ortho, ENT, and Plastics.
- Circulate primarily in Orthopedic, ENT, and Ophthalmology surgeries.
- Provide airway management and adhere to aseptic technique requirements.
- Float to other UCSF Facilities as needed to accommodate staffing needs.
- Document patient information using Epic and other charting systems.
- Ensure all patient care activities comply with healthcare regulation and standards.
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license and BSN required.
- Minimum of 3 years of OR experience with strong ortho and scrubbing expertise.
- Certified in AHA BLS and ACLS.
- Experience with scrub and circulating in Ortho-Joints, General, Endo/Lap, Gyn, Plastics, and Podiatry Surgery.
- Strong skills in airway management and aseptic techniques.
- Experience or willingness to work in teaching hospital environments.
