Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and tailor care based on individual patient needs and acuity levels.
• Administer medications, including complex drips, and monitor patient responses.
• Operate and maintain ICU equipment such as ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, and BiPAP/CPAP.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, TEE cardioversion, and chest tube insertion.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and support to families as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and challenging care plans are developed and followed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required at the time of application.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Proven experience in monitoring telemetry and managing critical drips and ventilators.
• Prior ICU experience is preferred.
• Must be highly organized and adaptable to varying patient needs and situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
