Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech - Radiology/Imaging to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Perform cardiac catheterizations and assist in various interventional procedures.
- Provide on-call support as required, covering after hours and weekends.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with all COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements, accepting exemptions when applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with cardiac cath and interventional cardiac experience.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system required.
- Proficient in sterile techniques and safety protocols in a cath lab environment.
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with allowances for documented medical or religious exemptions.
