Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous lines in accordance with facility policy.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to any irregularities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services, to plan and execute individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about care and medication management.
• Maintain patient records and document all clinical activities accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and adhere to heparin protocols.
• Strong skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and responding to critical signs.
