Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4-5.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services.
• Provide care for patients with critical conditions, neuro/stroke, and cardiac issues with planned interventions.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and administer related treatments and protocols.
• Administer medications including titration of insulin and vasoactive drips.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a PCU/Stepdown setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Capability to manage emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
