Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and sedation as needed.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parameters and adjust care accordingly.
- Operate advanced equipment such as ventilators, IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
- Perform complex procedures including cardioversion and transvenous pacing.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner system.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience with a focus on cardiovascular care.
- Proficiency in titration of vesicant meds, telemetry interpretation, and sedation.
- Experience with ventilators, trachs, and PA catheter setup is essential.
- Certification in CCRN highly desirable; familiarity with IABP and Impella is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
