Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in Family Birthing Center with services including Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum.
• Manage OBED, LDRP, and Overflow Postpartum beds effectively.
• Assist during C-sections, handling OR assignments when necessary.
• Titrate Pitocin and manage drip medications in labor scenarios.
• Collaborate with OB/Neonatologists available 24/7 to improve neonatal outcomes.
• Implement AWHONN guidelines, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in California.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in LDRP; preference given to candidates with 3 years.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Ability to handle high-risk pregnancies and perform neonatal resuscitation.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
• Ability to float across multiple facilities in the Sacramento region as needed.
