Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act and AORN standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR personnel to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care.
• Ensure availability of supplies and timely scheduling of cases.
• Communicate effectively with families and update physician preference cards.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases while supervising personnel delivering patient care.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Operating Room experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• Experience with general, ortho, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, trauma, and DaVinci robotics required.
• Able to handle adult and pediatric cases effectively.
• Strong critical thinking and scientific judgment skills.
• Ability to work on-call shifts and weekend rotation as needed.
