Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams in preparing operating rooms for procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique and environment during surgeries
• Position and prepare patients for surgical interventions
• Ensure proper care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
• Support dual call teams and two new surgeons on weekends for cardiac and vascular surgeries

Qualifications

• 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Eligibility for DORA-issued state license
• CST certification
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Proficient in various cardiovascular surgical procedures and techniques
