Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Family Birth Center
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and adjust care in accordance with patient conditions and doctor instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
- Conduct patient assessments and interpret diagnostic test results to inform treatment plans
- Assist in labor and delivery processes and provide postpartum care following established protocols
- Use Cerner and Fetal Link systems for patient monitoring and data entry
Qualifications
- Must have 2 years of L&D charge or L&D nurse manager experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced AWHONN certifications required
- Experience with telemetry, labor and delivery, emergency and critical care preferred
- Ability to pass a proctored Dysrhythmia Test on day one onsite
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Phillips FHM systems preferred
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in California
